New Monitor pickup does not record data

Post by mickyduck » June 4th, 2018, 11:28 am

HI Just replaced the pickup on my partners model C and it does not record any data. When she starts to row the PM5 illuminates but that is all. I have swapped over the PM5 from my D (to see if it was he PM5 that was faulty) and that is the same.. her PM5 also works with my D. Not a difficult task to fit or too teckie so cannot see what I can have done wrong.
Any ideas?
I have already contacted info@concept2.co.uk and awaiting a response
Thanks

The model B/C sensor is different to the model D/E. You need to re-configure the PM5 for the B/C sensor.

If you let the batteries go 100% flat for more than 24 hours the PM5 will go brain dead and revert to the hardware defined sensor type. Change them at > 1% left and you'll have no problems.

they were not flat Susan rows daily but on inserting the new ones we got an error code... maybe that caused it
