Logging meters
So I started rowing in 2010 with my high school crew club and each rower has a log card for assigned for erging practices but the using of log cards quickly phased out after my sophomore year. I started logging my meters on C2's online logbook last year(junior year) and have continued to add to it. As I've continued rowing with the team, I have found my old log card and recorded workouts with all my previous meters. Would it be acceptable for me to use that log card to add to my online logbook? I know how to connect my pc to the machine and do the transfer, I wasn't sure if that's acceptable with Concept2 being a few years late. I'm not going for any records or anything, I just want my all time meters in one place, showing my improvement over the years.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Logging meters
You can add them manually at: http://log.concept2.com/log_last.asp
There's no way to add old metres (outside 1st May 2013 to 30th April 2014) automatically.

Re: Logging meters
Oh ok, I thought with C2 Utility I could transfer all data to my online log book.
Just to be clear, on that page you mentioned, I can enter in a historical monthly total of my meters from every month I have used the erg to be added to my records? I don't want them to think I'm falsifying my records here, thats why I was interested in linking my log card in the PM to my PC.
I more so wanted to see the individual workouts to see the times/avgs/meters and compare to where I was a couple years later, but its all good. Ill be able to get the log card after this weekend so I'll mess around with that.

Re: Logging meters
The logbook is your own personal record, maintained by C2 for your convenience. No one else sees it and no one but you is concerned about the validity of the data in it. The ranking is a different matter. It is a public record and manually entered data without a validation code will show up as "Ind" so viewers will know that it is entered manually without verification.GMCarbaugh wrote:I can enter in a historical monthly total of my meters from every month I have used the erg to be added to my records? Re: Logging meters
Data from the current season is automatically logged.
It's only last season's metres that you have to add in bulk.
The season runs May 1 to Apr 30.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I know of no way to see previous years individual workouts on the C2 site, that is why I keep an excel spreadsheet of my own. I log my meters on the site because I am affiliated with the Forum Flyers and I rank my pieces but I also have a spreadsheet that keeps all the individual workouts from the last 15+ years of erging.GMCarbaugh wrote:I more so wanted to see the individual workouts to see the times/avgs/meters and compare to where I was a couple years later, but its all good. You may see your history on the C2 site as well. You may click on any previous year to that ranking year's data.Dickie wrote:Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I know of no way to see previous years individual workouts on the C2 site, that is why I keep an excel spreadsheet of my own. You can also enter data for previous seasons manually.
