Go Figure (Million Meter Club)

Just got an email saying my 9 million meter award just shipped. I expect to hit 10 million meter mark tomorrow morning. Go figure.

I had two MM awards shipped together (a week or so ago) even though I passed the first of the two award markers at the end of December and the second one the first week of February.

They tend to get backed up around the end of the year, end of the indoor season, and CRASH-Bs.

Other times the awards come faster.

What is all this awards garbage. I am about to wind up the season with very close to 3 MM, even possibly over (currently at 2.7+), and have never heard anything about awards. Are they something you apply for? The first and second MM are so long ago that I have forgotten when.

I hit 9 million on 1/4/06. Would have hit 10 million sooner except I'm working 50-60 hours a week, and I'll be working 72 hours a week for the month of April.
