Google pedometer

This isn't rowing related, exactly, but holy crap the Google Pedometer is cool. What a great tool for walkers, runners, and bikers. Call up your area on the map, hit "start recording," and then double-click on the map to set points on your route. Simple! You can even save your route.

Here, for example, is a convenient route from the Mendota Rowing Club boathouse to beers on the Memorial Union Terrace: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=74771

Thank you folks, but if you'll look at my location, I don't need more web to play with :) Even though I love it. Until, of course, I have that portable wireless in my headset, blink controlled.

Mebbe I better just go to the gym.
