Ranking 2K 40-49 Hwts

Post by Chad Williams » March 20th, 2006, 10:29 am

This weekend- 2000m rowed in 5.44.9 – 1.26.2 - r35

Complete with an IND_V code. I have entered it on the rankings but am waiting for an additional code from Denah at concept 2 to allow me to complete the ranking format to their requirements, as it will be a top 3 row (#1) This has been accepted as a IND_V classified row on the ranking system.

I have supplied all the data from the log card, the IND_V code, the split data plus a screen shot of the monitor after the row. All this information is now with C2.

When C2 confirm my place in the rankings (I have been told that it can take a few days to get a code) I will post the screen shot and the splits for you all to see.

Does the other person supply all the information that I am supplying to back-up the row?

Come to BiRC 2006, you will se me there.

I have nothing more to say until the row is ranked on the rankings board, lets hope they issue the number soon as possible.

I will post it soon as I have it.

If that other person does show up at birc (or anywhere else) I will be very surprised. :D

I'd suspect a more sustainable stroke rate around 35SPM.

Anything above 40SPM for that sort of pace probably isn't achievable or sustainable.

Yeh, I agree Citroen. Recent performances around this time show a rate in the lower 30s for the main part of the 2K:

BIRC Graham Benton 5:46.9 r28-r29
BIRC Jamie Shroeder 5:44.0 r32-33
WIRC Graham Benton 5:46.4 r29-r30

All you need to do now is work on your power per stroke and you'll be flying

(And for the record, you're a lot faster than me  )
