Boasson-Hagen has the legs for rattlng up and down the block eight times and the knockout final acceleration. Don't know much about the lowlander's form.

Dutch national road champion Chantal Blaak takes world road title in Bergen. Very strong Dutch squad!

Re: FUBO?
I found it pretty poor racing, super strong team, but they let them catch every time, and for silver and bronze again. Nice that Chantal wins, but she is ofcourse not a true World champion in the sense of being the strongest. She herself could hardly believe what happened.jackarabit wrote:Dutch national road champion Chantal Blaak takes world road title in Bergen. Very strong Dutch squad!
The 2 headladies did not want the other to win, when the team crossed the line, nobody was really happy, no cheering etc..

Guess she'll have to hold her head up like she's the real deal, Henry. Should not be that hard as she did come first. Race sometimes to swiftest, often to luckiest, always to firstest.

Nothing against her, hard worker, great she took it. Cycling is not about being the strongest, but being the first on the line. And she was.jackarabit wrote:Guess she'll have to hold her head up like she's the real deal, Henry. Should not be that hard as she did come first. But it will be tough to shine in that jersey, back in her team, she will be a helper again.
The man now, Sagan for 3?

The star of the day has to be Lizzie Deignan (nee Armistead), she came in at 41st place less than four weeks after being in the hospital having her appendix out. Lizzie must be as fit as a butcher's dog.
