How do you reduce the size of an animated gif to use it as an avatar?

Hey pere,

There must be tons of software programs for windows which can do the job, I am Mac, so no answers here!

reduce size, less detail! you can save your image as an jpeg or jpg and save it on the lowest quality,!

I use photoshop or imageready, if it won't work sent it to me and I will do it for you and return it!
