Earphones / In-ears for rowing?

Decision made: I went for the Beyerdynamic DTX50 canalphones.
The standard version comes with three different silicone earfittings, and as the smallest size fits passably I haven't ordered custom molded fittings yet. But this option is still open if I'm willing to pay the extra charge. We'll see.

For the moment I'm quite happy with the phones as they are. The sound is better than that of my old earbuds and the isolation is good, too. Ambient noise is still hearable, but I can enjoy music while rowing with less than half the volume as before - a great relief for my ears :)
