Bow Coxed vs. Stern Coxed 4s

Interesting that the bow coxed boat is faster than the other.
The bow cox has no difficulty being still, and becomes part of boat weight.
The stern cox often moves, either to view ahead, or simply because of the effort required to resist the pulsing of the boat. He becomes less part of boat weight, and boat pulsing and drag increase. Speed drops.
