bouldering - pulling on ridiculously small holds way up high on risk of injury should a fall occur - great way to forget the days' troubles...

if freestyle 'footbagging' is the same thing as US "hacky sack" then put me down as a participant as well...

Check the Seattle Co-op, now known as R.E.I. - since it got moved out of the garage.

I'm in there nearly weekly, not much padding, but I've also never seen an employee that would not be on a fast elevator on the way up if on belay when I fell. Rowing along on nice flat water tends to leave my cares behind quite nicely, without the body breaking possibility.

I remember going to the "garage" location (about 1975) with my Dad and getting my first pair of Danner boots. Yes, my shoe size was my age and fortunately they stopped growing, used those boots for the next 12 years or so. The stores these days have come along way, and I'm shocked by the dividend each year, surely there is no way I spent that much!!!

I want to have a go on that wall next time I've over, but it always looks like something for the kids in the store. I did laugh out loud at the thought of you falling off and the REI employee taking a quick trip skywards though.

I am not very smart but, I can lift heavy things.

Today my sport is rowing.

I must also include moving heavy rocks, dirt, gravel for landscaping my yard. Mixing motar and concrete. Hauling lumber for woodworking. Pounding nails. Sawing and boring holes.

Makes rowing seem so serene to me. I loathe even the thought of racing.
