Well, let’s hope this is true, can Dwayne confirm that this is his plan?

Seat5, you do know that they only give out hammers for 1st place.

The only podium Dwayne will ever be on will be the one he built in his garage. And the only hammer he will ever get will be the one he buys from the hardware store!

MIA

Post by afolpe » May 4th, 2006, 8:15 am

I bet I speak for a good number of people when I say that I very much look forward to Dwayne showing up to a race and rowing sub-6, win or lose. I'm naive enough that I still believe in people's honesty and integrity until it's been proven otherwise (which it most definitely hasn't, in my view).

If he is honest and innocent of the really venomous charges he's been defiled with, a number of people on this board owe him an apology the likes of which have never been seen. No one should ever have to have something like this happen to them.

Don’t forget Andrew that it also works the other way too.
If Dwayne does not show up when he says he will or pulls a score that does not reflect the claims that have been made over the years some people will need to do some serious apologising too.

It cuts both ways. If he is a fraud, you are owed apologies.

I really hope this is resolved in an open race. This issue has poisoned the board for those of us who row only for our own improvement.

 Being right doesn't justify uncivil behavior. Chad doesn't deserve an apology even if he is 100% right and DA is a complete fraud. Chad's ridiculous and obsessive rhetoric has created an adversarial atmosphere and even driven people from the community.

Naill, Gus was making the point that Dwayne's 16,000,000+ meters has gone from last years rankings, not Dwayne himself :D

and you and others are blameless?

Did anyone at any point in time force people to read anything I had written, did I force anyone to reply?

Some people sit back and do nothing, some people act. I have no regrets about anything I have said.

Have your actions benefited anybody in anyway?

Not that I can tell.

I believe the forum would be a better place if you weren't injecting your negativism. Why don't you take it up with C2 and abandon your tirade here on the forum?
