25-0
25-0 IS POSSBILE!! Since my last lose last season, I just rowed my 25th consecutive 2,000 plus point fish game.
I finished last season with 14 straight wins (2,000 plus points) to go 24-1 and I am currently 11-0 this current season.
I not sure sure how much longer this current streak will last though. Technique is 95% of the battle. The other 5% is luck!
Two seasons back I went 17-8 and didn't alter my technique from what I am currently doing except that I have lowered my damper setting a tad.
Happy fishing to all!

Fisherman, The 3075 was done at an average pace of 2:32, 786 meters. Not sure if I've gone 25 straight over 2000. I'll have to check my log card, but I do occasionally score under 2k. I know how you feel about the 25-0 streak. I was stuck in the 2800s for a while but was pretty sure that 3000 could be done. There were a number of us at C2 that worked with our software designers on the Fish game. Glad you like it. Catfish (C2JonW)

John:
I currently using a drag setting of 4. I tried settings of 6-7 but it slowed my reaction time.
One key to the game is to get the first three strokes out of the way to "release" your fish so it can attack effectively.
Thank you for the kind words regarding my initial posting. I hope that the 25 game season is working for you.

John:
I did have a 25-0 season. Unfortunately, my streak ended at 41 consecutive 2,000 plus games. I went 24-1 two seasons ago, 25-0 for the first time last season, am currently a 5-1 this season.
I ran into one of games you get from time to time where there are simply not enough fish to hit a 2,000 score. I made no mistakes during the game and rowed 960 meters (usually enough to hit a 2,000 score) but only had a score of 1,785.
How are you doing with your fish game season?

My fisherman fish game items list is coming along very well.
Week #1 was April 10-16 and found me tossing the list together through the week. I had only 5 items listed by the first two days and kept adding them on, getting a formal chart made about mid week, and my first 2 points Wednesday. By the end of the week my chart was formalized into a template that is easy to use for each subsequent match. I ended up the week better than expected with a score of 10 - 15.
Week #2 has given me a great start with 24 items already listed by Monday, then 2 of the items took longer than expected so were split into 4 items and 4 points and one other item removed. I have been greatly underestimating the time that it takes to do the items on my list.
Playing the points and items this way is very instructive. The game gives me a definite time period for completion of the items, though how I do them is totally flexible. Having the game and the list is helping me to keep track of the items and then getting them done.

Re: anything is possible
Have you got some new firmware version that stores the fish game score on the LogCard? Have you got new version of the LogCard utility that extracts the fish game scores?c2jonw wrote:Hey Fisherman- Great run you have going there!!! I thought the score was ephemeral and not recorded anywhere unless you use the old fashioned way and get it on parchment with your quill pen at the end of each game.
Citroen, The current downloadable version of the Fish Game (V94) has this feature. Game score is viewed on the detail page of the workout, either in the PM3 memory or on your logcard. Catfish (C2JonW)c2jonw wrote:

Ah ha, the machines I use only have beta94 build2. I'll probably wait until you release the non-beta production version of firmware before I upgrade those two.c2jonw wrote: Citroen, The current downloadable version of the Fish Game (V94) has this feature. The items completed fish game list is fantastic.
I've just completed week #2 with a score of 9 to 16.
The list helps to keep me right on track, and I've got the one made for this week already.

Way to go Fisherman! But I'm not sure I understand the overall record of 96 (over 2000?) and 4 (under2000?) if you say you did 100 consecutive over 2000 games.......C2JonWI just posted my best record of 100 consecutive 2,000 + point fish games with an overall record of 96-4.
