Re: Used C2 for Sale
So, mates, I finally got my c2 Rowerg today, and here's my first log. Though it felt light and non-exhaustive as a beginner, I felt a tad bit light-headed towards the end lol, I don't know if it was because it was the first time or my room was small. Regardless I'd like to dive deep into the forums, training materials, and the strong and active community of c2 to improve my skills and knowledge with regard to the rowerg.
Cheers

Congratulations. You might look into joining a team https://log.concept2.com/team and/or an affiliation (in your profile).

Congratulations !!!
I can't speak to your light headed feeling (just be sure isn't a sign of a medical issue) but regarding your "it felt light and non-exhaustive" statement, the resistance one feels on the row erg depends primarily on how hard you push (and also on the Drag Factor, but we can save that issue for a different discussion).
If you don't push hard/fast it won't feel hard, if you push harder and faster it will push back, and you'll be rewarded with a higher pace on the PM display. You probably already know that, but every now and then a newbie will say "I just got a rower and I really can't get my heart rate up - it's way too easy, and I'm not getting a good workout." 100% of the time it turns out that they're at a super-low pace and just aren't pushing hard/fast enough. It's hard to tell if you're in that situation, because all I see in your log entry is distance and nothing that allows me to figure out the pace, but you can check all that yourself.
Good luck, and enjoy. : )

Indoor rowing in summer in Italy requires a FAN. A BIG FAN.sanjay2593 wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2022, 6:06 pmI felt a tad bit light-headed towards the end lol, I don't know if it was because it was the first time or my room was small.

My only concern with C-breeze is that you're directing the air flow straight into your face, so there's no ability to put in on your back, which is the most efficient way to cool yourself down.
Also, doesn't the stronger airflow, with stronger strokes, get a bit overwhelming for your breathing?

You can rotate it a bit, so I have it a bit more aimed at the floor, just to get the airflow going.Dangerscouse wrote: ↑June 25th, 2022, 7:56 amMy only concern with C-breeze is that you're directing the air flow straight into your face, so there's no ability to put in on your back, which is the most efficient way to cool yourself down.
Maybe my strokes aren't that powerfull? I never get the feeling I'm in a windtunnel, but pointing the CBreeze a bit down helps a lot there.Dangerscouse wrote: ↑June 25th, 2022, 7:56 amAlso, doesn't the stronger airflow, with stronger strokes, get a bit overwhelming for your breathing?
Re: Used C2 for Sale
In winter I wear gloves (actually thin glove liners) -- my right hand gets too much cold airflow even without the c-Breeze. How's that for wussy. Other than that the winter months with temps 40F to 50F (5C-10C) are PERFECT for rowing.
I have an 18" industrial fan. I don't always use it, but by late summer the garage hits 75F (24C) 75+% humidity and a big fan (behind me just like Dangerscouse says, I think we are twins) is wonderful.
Italy has to be hotter and wetter. Even inside using Air Conditioning a fan will make a big difference. More comfortable and less puddles.

I'm with Stu and Tsnor, hardly any workout without a fan in my back except WU for weights or short sprints. Don't have an industrial fan, so use 2 or 3 normal ones for hard sessions.

Oh yea I totally agree. I use a small laptop fan and I guess for now it’s fine.
