First, congratulations. Sounds like it's the first of many million meter plateaus. This can be mildly addictive stuff.
Secondly, a lot -- likely most -- people don't get erging. But as Louis Armstrong is credited with saying about jazz -- "if you don't feel it, I can't explain it." The same could be said about erging. How lucky are we that we've found an activity we enjoy and that's pretty good for us. I mean, we could be doing a LOT worse things ... like nothing.
