Sorry I missed the challenge on the 14th, thanks to those who represented the team.

I did manage to do close to 27 seconds faster on my second attempt at 7777 on Rowpro on Saturday to get back into boat I. I know I'll be relegated back a couple of boats if our other LWs get their ergs in motion but for now I'll battle it out with Rob and John.

I'll try to get another row set up next weekend. For those who row during the week there is at least 1 midweek 7777 setup at the moment (Tuesday 20:20 GMT).

I noticed Francois put in another of his lwt defying rows.

We need a 7777m session from our ladies to float another boat.

Should we ask admin to move this thread to the TEAMS section of the forum? (that way we don't have to search for it after weeks of inactivity

)

And when you get there, click on the google earth icon in the top left. That will automatically download the file to Google Earth for you. It is not that intuitive, the programmer is not a very good web designer.

Is the Eh! Team not going to be in the NARC? I know that we can't win any prizes, but we can at least compete for the sheer pride and exhaustion of it. . .

It seems that we will be asked to choose the challenge for the May CTC. Fewer and fewer of us are doing this these days but I think we should make an effort for team pride. The ERG have chosen 2500m for April and I though we could maybe double it for May and go for 5000m since that hasn't been done since December 06. What do you think?

Great idea on the c2 challenge.

I will try and get this months challenge done.

Linda and I are back in one place for a few weeks so I will try and keep things updated.

We have completed the row around the coast of the America's and we are heading across the Atlantic. Our route will take us to the Azores, over to Morocco and then around Africa counter clock wise.

We have over 67 million meters under our boat. I must get the program to calculate the total distance soon, but it is going to be large!!

I like the 5,000m idea (sorry Tyn, it's a nice way to pay homage to the tiny bubbles in my beer) Let's get the tough ones out of the way while it's still cool outside (and in).

I'll try to get under 6:00 minutes before the end of the month. I'm a bit under the weather at the moment with a cold but there's still 6 days left.

I like the 5,000 m idea also. But what about 6000? An unrestricted 6000 was the first CTC challenge in Dec 2005 and hasn't been done since (except for an R24 last May).

I think of the 5000/6000 as a pair anyway. If it comes to that, I'll do a 6000 in May and take the 5000 split for the CTC. It kills two birds with one stone for Nonathlon purposes.

It has been a while since our eh!team boat has seen land but we are now passing the small island of Corvo. It is part of the Azores.

We are over 68 million meters now and coming up on a year of rowing in our coastal row! This is going to take us a while to get around the world, so ......

We have just managed to get past Terceira, the third largest of the islands of the Azores. It looks like another beautiful place that I would not mind visting someday.

We have done it!
We have finally made it across the Atlantic to Tangier and we are starting our counter clockwise course around Africa.
Well done, Eh!Team.

Tangiers looks like an interesting place. Too bad we don't have time to actually get to these places.
