Problems with logcard utility

Post by davef » April 21st, 2008, 9:39 pm

Hi all,

I'm connecting my pm3 to my windows xp computer and running the latest version of the logcard utility.

For some reason it is unable to read my card. I am getting the below message:

The log card is working fine in the rower, I'm recording my workouts to it and can display them properly.

I must have screwed something in windows up when I tried to install the card reader from this thread:

Any suggestions on how to get things going again with just the pm3 -> computer -> logcard util setup?

Thanks!

Dave

Pull the card out.
Connect the PM3 to the computer.
Re-insert the card.

Check for any error messages on the PM3 screen.

If all else fails you may need to reformat the card, by deleting all the users.

Folks, please don't delete all the users or reformat the card just yet... We just discovered that the LCU ver 6.10 has an incompatibility with certain older firmware versions. I suggest updating the firmware in the PM3 to ver 101 and see if that solves the problem -- I think it will. The next version of the LogCard Utility should fix this issue.
