Most computer systems that are going to fail will fail under the heaviest load. That's Murphy's first law of computing.

Would you accept it though, I think not!
Probably down for the weekend now when folks are looking towards Manchester results. This is now the norm.

If there were 'Diarys' available on this forum it may be interesting how long it would take for people to up-anchor and move over after all it is the people who makes the forum not the URL location :?:

Well as that site is down I'll post here for those interested that Waddell won his race today, half a boat length in front of Drysdale. He made it look so easy.

Thanks "rowmyboat" for keeping us informed on Rob Waddell's progress. Looks like Drysdale has almost made up all of the 2 boats lengths Waddell beat him by when they last raced.

Fortunately for Drysdale 2K erg times don't have a major bearing for Olympic selection. Otherwise Waddell would have it in the bag.
PBs: 2K 6:13.4, 5K 16:32, 6K 19:55, 10K 33:49, 30min 8849m, 60min 17,309m
Caution: Static C2 ergs can ruin your technique and timing for rowing in a boat.
The best thing I ever did to improve my rowing was to sell my C2 and get a Rowperfect.

I got in fine as well, only to have it bork me in mid-post.

My right boot is itching to apply itself to someone's posterior....

I am not the sort of person to moan, but this is just a bl**y joke!! The UK forum is just useless these days.

Lets all (UK Users) migrate over here, just add diary functions to this forum.

From what I can recall of his diary entry, he seemed pretty confident. Weighed in at 74.9kg (!), but just couldn't muster the oomph to see him through the second half of the event. There was a little debate about whether dehydration had wasted him (although he made weight a couple of days ago). Anyway, I'm sure we'll know more tomorrow when the forum's back up and running....

G'night

23.00 UK time, UK Forum down again, get your fingers out Concept, looks bad for the company.

Nik Fleming fastest at Manchester with 5.56, this man always delivers, no ifs, buts, could, may do etc. He does the job ! Respect.

The UK Forum:

Flopped more often than Didier Drogba.

Down more often than Peter Mandelson when the fleet's in.

Crashed more often than Evel Knievel.

Wrongfooted more often than Titus Bramble.

Wrecked more often than Liam Gallagher at a Kate Moss party.

Uglier right now than Sam Allardyce.

30,000 rivets short of a Lancaster.

Anyone care to add to the list?
