Million Meter Club

Post by bigd9 » December 26th, 2007, 11:30 am

Just a note to get everyone jacked up.I don't row for speed, but for distance and meditation purposes.I'm working on 32 million meters.Does anyone know the record for meters posted on this site? I'd like to shoot for it.It won't do anything for my meditation practice, but it wold be great for my ego.Is that an oxymoron.

There's a member of the Eh! Team who has passed to 40 million mark. And there is at least one guy on the 10,000 Meter+ Honor Board who seems to be rowing at least a Marathon a day. . . in 2005 this gentleman posted over 15,400,00 meters, more than 16,000,00 meters in 2006 and more than 15,000,00 in 2007, and is on track to do the same this year.

So if you have 32 Million Meters, it looks like there are some folks ahead of you on the record number of meters posted for this site.

David Hislop is a long way ahead. He went through 40million on Xmas Day 2004.

I've done over 38 million meters so far.

I did a million in 19 days for the holiday challenge 2 years ago.
