5 million meters reached!

Post by chgoss » October 14th, 2007, 7:29 pm

Started erging Feb 2006, just went past 5 million!

Wouldnt be half that distance if I hadnt had my regular online training partners Ben and Joe (Grec-zilla). Special THANKS to those two, and the many other folks that show up for our Monday-Thursday nightly rows.

cheers

Well done. Enjoy the clothing when C2 USA send it to you (assuming you're logging metres online).

What clothing? I am now logged in with less than 300k short of my 6th million and there has been no notice of this by C2. Don't you have to make a request for it? Same deal as with the marathon mugs. I was under the impression that it it not an automatic thing, but that you have to ask for the mugs or shirts or whatever. Perhaps the C2 organization in the U.K. works differently. There does seem to be some differences in dealing with the U.K. distributor and dealing directly with the company here in the U.S.

This is not a complaint. If I wanted these these things I would have gone to the trouble to ask for them, but I am curious about it.

Hi Bob,
Dont know about the UK, but the C2 US site indicates that we have to send email to kcc@concept2.com to request the gear..

Yes, that is the way that I remembered it. Citroen's message seems to imply that it is automatic once you have logged in the information, which that page clearly indicates is not true in the U.S. But I noticed one line in the rules:

The prizes listed above are US and Canada prizes. Prize programs vary worldwide.

This makes me wonder if it is different in the U.K.

Perhaps Dougie will clarify this.
