PM3 retrofit

Post by Yamash » April 11th, 2007, 6:00 pm

Hi,
I have a model B and was considering changing to the PM3 monitor. On my model B I have a C-Breeze to help re-direct the air above and below the fan cage. I was looking at the instructions to retrofit the PM3 monitor on line and noticed that it looks like it sticks up on the fan cage rather high. I was wondering if this would block the air coming from the C-Breeze along the top of the cage ?

Thanks for your help.

If you place it as close to the chain opening as possible, and angle it up as the PM1 was, most of the CBreeze airflow will make it over the top, plus there is a good amount from below that will be unobstructed.

PM1 was easily out of the way.
