WIRC - Where to go after

Hello
Thanks for reading.
Help please.
My wife and I are coming to Boston for the WIRC.
We are going to stay for a week or so after the event.
We would like a relaxed week with lots of sun.
It would appear looking at USA temperatures for early March that one would need to go to the Caribbean.
Here are my questions for which I would appreciate the help of my informed fellow rowers:
Is that the only place with guaranteed sun?
If so where can I fly to from Boston?
Should I drive to NY and fly from there-more destination options?
Where is nice in the Caribbean?
Where is not nice?
Villa or Hotel?
Any other options I have missed?
