I just received the new model E with the PM4. I rowed a bit yesterday and today, just working on my form, and wanted to download the rowing times into the logbook. I loaded the logbook and utility software onto my new Sony Vaio Notebook (XP) but when I hook up the computer and put in the card it either doesn't read it at all or after a few insertions it reads it for about 5 seconds and then says it will have to shut down - which it frustratingly does.
I've reloaded, rebooted, reloaded and rebooted again with the same results.
The utility program works. It allows me to save the workouts as a CSV file - which is cool - but I want to see the stuff loaded into the logbook.
Any suggestions are welcome.

What software is that? What version/what release?shleets wrote:I loaded the logbook and utility software ...
I don't think 2.0 supported the PM4. The logbook program is actually written for Concept2 by digitalrowing. They have a 2.003 version that has bug fixes. Some of those bugs may apply to the logbook, others are for their RowPro software.
If you go to their site you can download the demo version of RowPro and receive the full/upgraded version of the C2 LogBook. Despite being a trial of RowPro, it will be the full version of the logbook.
