sneak peak

Post by c2bill » August 28th, 2006, 5:52 pm

we've been hard at work on a new website - the most dramatic change for our repeat visitors will be the overall nav structure which is a bit more consistent than it has been in the past. If you want a preview visit:

www.conceptii.com/us

to see the site. there is a lot of missing content... which is where the bulk of the work lies at this point.

The menu structure seems great. The Service & Support menu, for example, is much easier than trying to find the same things on the old site. All of the different items have an anchor/category.

You should consider putting some delay timers before your menus open and close. Particularly when you move the mouse outside of them. I find it really helps the usability, such that people aren't constantly mousing out of the menu and losing their place and you don't have a bunch of flashing boxes when someone slides their mouse down the menu items. Plus, requiring a half-second of hover makes them work just a bit more like real menus we'd see in Windows/Mac/Linux. Or maybe it's me and I'm just a sloppy mouser.

Very attractive skin.

Fill that baby out and you got yourself a top of the line webpage.

Good work.
