6 million is doable, even balancing family, work, and a life. You just have to get up very early in the morning and be a little OCD. For me though, 6 million is where I where I would draw the line about balancing family and work committments. I was just shy of six million meters last season, and would have made if not being ordered off the rower by a doctor, but that meant that I had to workout early in the morning, and while the rest of my family was napping on weekends. In terms of time, that meant on average an hour a day, but when you factor in travel, and illness, it meant about an hour and ten minutes a day.xeno wrote:When I was in full training, I would row 5000KMS, 5 million meters.
Maybe I could have gone 6000KMS, but that would have been a royal pain in my butt.
With a full life as father, husband, sick days, holidays, etc and running the Iron Oarsman I was able to muster up almost 4 million.
Anything above 5 million, WOW, possible to a degree but VERY VERY VERY time consuming.
Sincerely,
XENO
