When I was in full training, I would row 5000KMS, 5 million meters.
Maybe I could have gone 6000KMS, but that would have been a royal pain in my butt.
With a full life as father, husband, sick days, holidays, etc and running the Iron Oarsman I was able to muster up almost 4 million.
Anything above 5 million, WOW, possible to a degree but VERY VERY VERY time consuming.
Sincerely,
XENO

It was obviously meant in jest. I'm sure Xeno can take a joke. His cheesy grin and "two thumbs up" at the end of the seat video suggests that he hasn't had a sense of humour bypass. =)Chad Williams wrote:Show some bloody respect.row4life wrote:Maybe you just didn't train hard enough.xeno wrote:When I was in full training, I would row 5000KMS, 5 million meters.

Oh my gosh,
NO WORRIES AT ALL!
I have a skin thick as concrete.
I have been around the block.
My wife said the same thing about the last frames on the video.

This little back an forth, illustrates precisely the problems with this kind of communication. Some read the little jab at Xeno as a joke and others didn't. I think we all need to back off a bit and consider that what we are reading may not be intended in the way we perceive it.row4life wrote:Eat my shorts, jerk!! It was a joke. It would be easy to manipulate the data on rowpro.
The only way to truly verify times is with having a witness.
As in the case of Dwayne, however, even having a witness would not be enough.
Also there is still the case that some people use slides.
The Ind-V is a good idea, provided everyone had this capability but which so far they don't.
If the Ind-V could also generate a picture or time lapse of the rower, then this would be additional verification.
