What's Your Vice
What's your vice?
For me, it's good wine. Among other benefits, regular exercise allows for regular consumption.

c2bill, even though I have made many negative comments about the ranking system I would like to state that all the work you have put into it, which I would think is many hours of each week is very much appreciated.c2bill wrote:c2 log and ranking. countless hours...
My issue is with the abusers of the system, not the creators of it.

This is a cool thread! Don't let it be de-railed.row4life wrote:You are an abuser of the system. You abuse everyone you come in contact with.Chad Williams wrote:

I'm trying to avoid the coffee too, but I can't seem to do it for long. A good cup of Earl Grey can almost take it's place.
I'm also into tofu jerky, weird eh?

I'm beginning to think I may have to change my vices...hmm..coffee, chocolate AND I've been known to enjoy a glass of red wine with my evening meal. Ah, who am I kidding. Like any good vice, they're those regular little things that regulate my sometimes chaotic life.I'm trying to avoid the coffee too, but I can't seem to do it for long. I'm curious about the tofu John. Tofu Jerky? If that isn't a dichotomy...

Champaigne, well... the Spanish version of it that we call 'cava'. If my wife and I open a bottle we have to open a second one.......

You would almost think it's the real thing, I actually like it better! I'll post a recipe for it sometime this weekend.I'm curious about the tofu John. Tofu Jerky? If that isn't a dichotomy... :shock
I forgot to put down that I also enjoy beer and sometimes wine once in a while. A good beer during the hockey play-offs, perfect!

That doesn't count as a vice, since it is good for your health.dutchcan wrote: I've been known to enjoy a glass of red wine with my evening meal.

It has been shown that people who drink a glass of wine with their meals live longer than those who don't drink or those who drink beer instead!

Like Francois I too used to love my coffee. I even had a custom blend of espresso and Kenyan beans, plunge pot, the whole bit. Then I figured out that I was lactose intolerant and coffee without cream doesn't work for me.Francois wrote:I stopped drinking coffee two years ago when I was suffering from some arrhythmia, and it solved my problem. I was drinking only one cup a day at breakfast, but I guess that was one cup too much.
I had severe headaches for the first three days, and felt sleepy in the afternoons. I would have never thought about it as a drug, but in the end, that's what it was.
Nothing compares now to the jolt of good workout right at the start of the day.
The other vice email, and I don't even have a crackberry.
