Dyno help

Don't know if this is the correct forum to post in!
I have managed to acquire a c2 Dyno for the great sum of £10.
I have cleaned up the battery terminals and the Dyno monitor now works, yay.

My next question, as it has been sat in a lockup for ten years, what do I need to do to service it and keep it running, there isn't much info on the web. I know there is a chain that needs oil, but how do I get to that.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, read all of those but I couldn't find any general maintenance tips.

Wow, that's a deal..congrats, and even better that the monitor works as they are very scarce. Maintenance is pretty minimal. Clean the rail that the carriage rolls on every now and then with household cleanser and a rag. As you can see in the exploded view, there are two chains that should be lubed every now and then. The larger one that attaches to the carriage can be accessed from the bottom of the rail. I think there is an access hole somewhere on one of the side plates to lube the smaller loop of chain. I'll look over the documents and let you know if anything else comes to me.
The Dyno is a great piece of equipment that just never caught on, possibly because the the strength training equipment market is so competitive. Enjoy it!

You, sir, are incredibly lucky, because Dyno monitors are a very, very, very rare breed, and if your PM was dead you'd have no way of tracking your progress. Of course the Dyno would work just fine, but you wouldn't know how hard you were working.

To protect the PM from future battery leaks be sure to use lithium batteries - they're more expensive than regular alkaline, but worth it, especially for a Dyno PM.

Hello Everyone /Anyone!
I'm trying to track down DYNO machine, with or without a monitor...
Obviously it's becoming a hard task and seems near impossible, made more so due to my location here being New Zealand , Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated
