Difference between logbok meters and million meters
Difference between logbok meters and million meters
I just noticed I finished 3,000,903 meters according to the logbook but "Your lifetime RowErg meter total is currently: 2,939,685m". Can someone explain the difference?
Thanks in advance

61,218m
Do you do lots of intervals with lots of resting metres?

Yes. I guess that could be the reason.

This annoys me. Metres rowed are metres rowed, even if you're just paddling. My logbook total is nearing 15 million metres. With rests included who knows what it would be?

If your logbook is the C2 online log, and you sync via Ergdata or similar, then rest meters are included in the total, its only the PM which doesn't include them in its total. If you still update manually then its entirely up to you whether you enter resting meters or not as they are shown on the PM at the bottom of the summary screen for the work out.Rowan McSheen wrote: ↑May 6th, 2023, 5:24 amMy logbook total is nearing 15 million metres. Re: Difference between logbok meters and million meters
Sorry, I hadn't understood the problem. Where is your 3mill + figure displayed? My lifetime figure on the first Log page and in the Challenges Tab/million meter club box are both the same at 24,313,512 and include rest meters. Are those numbers different for you? If so you should contact ranking@concept2.com to ask for help as to why. Its possible you got some duplicate entries when the new Ergdata app was first introduced last year and was a bit flakey - I manually deleted the ones I had. The known different totals are if compared with the "lifetime" log on the PM which does not reflect rest meters (and may be otherwise reset or wrong anyway).

Do you have any BikeErg or SkiErg meters that may be included in your total meters?
