Ranking calculation errors
Ranking calculation errors
I noted a ranking for a 71 year old male, 30 minute verified piece at a 500 m pace of less than 1 minute? When the world record for a single 500 M piece is a minute 10? Over 15,000 m in a half an hour ...for real?

Re: Ranking calculation errors
Don't get me started been banging on here for years about verified rows, C2 need to fix it up and also now include the type of monitor used to get the result.
The only really true believable verified result is done on a PM5, too many older monitors were not as smart and also develop faults to give false readings.
No longer really care that much, have switched to mainly Zwift and cycling these days and the results there are even easier to fudge.

But a PM5 can be set to expect a Model B, and get data from an E?Carl Watts wrote: ↑December 24th, 2022, 5:25 pmThe only really true believable verified result is done on a PM5, too many older monitors were not as smart and also develop faults to give false readings.

Re: Ranking calculation errors
I have not reported it. And I don't really have very strong feelings about it. I've never even rowed a 30 minute piece for a ranking and I really only compete against myself. Was just curious if anyone else had noticed this sort of thing. All of the ranked pieces I have done appear to be accurate. Thanks for the replies. Some interesting information!
