Hi Folks,
I know over the years we all tend to come and go with time, age or just change from the erg/rower. As part of the 'Iron Oarsman' Team. I have noted the lack of metres by Byron Drachman who has been a stalwart in the C2 community over the years and also when the old UK forum was up and running. My question is, is Byron ok? In his 80's (84) and just wondered and hope that his absence wasn't indicative of anything serious.
No doubt we have lost a few ergers/rowers over the years due to many things, but curiosity got the better of me about Byron. Many thanks for replies.

I also remember Byron, and you got me wondering too. I did some Googling, and he seems to be tagged on Facebook in an OTW rowing photo on 10 July. It doesn't look like he's active on Facebook, but browsing some of the photos and comments, it does seem that he is still around.

Cheers Sloth,
People come and go for all sorts of reasons, but when a seasoned campaigner is missing it makes you think. GO Byron GO. Wishing everyone well.

Really hope he’s just on a taper and all is well. A wonderful person.
