I bought a RowErg Model D recently and am loving it. Now, I am thinking of buying the SkiErg and the BikeErg as well, which would be an expensive investment for me.
Before I take the plunge, I want to hear your opinion on how rust and corrosion resistant Concept2 machines are? Which parts corrode or rust the most? I am especially interested in the opinions of long term users who live in high humidity areas. I live in an area with very high humidity (Min 69.5%, Max: 96.4%, Average: 77%). Things with poor construction start rusting pretty soon here

I've had my Model D since 2004, and haven't noticed any corrosion. I'm not in quite as humid an area as you (indoors it averages around 62%), but I am a few kilometres from the sea.
I bought my BikeErg in 2018, and also haven't noticed any corrosion. I have seen people posting pictures of rusting bolts on the crank arms from sweat falling on them, but those seem like extreme cases.

With just high humidity alone, the C2 new models are great. The model C was a problem because the steel fan cage housing rusted pretty bad. C2 switched to stainless on the Model D.
That said the problems really get quite bad if you sweat excessively to the point its running off the back of the seat and down the slide. I ended up with sweat under the stainless monotrack rail and it was so corrosive it even attacked the stainless and it broke through the aluminum monorail paint and started to eat it and turn it to white powder. The bearings in the seat rollers also failed. This problem went away when I started rowing in a garage with a huge industrial fan instead of in a tiny bedroom with very poor ventilation due to one tiny window and a silly small fan.
Overall its generally made of rust free materials, just lube the steel chain.
