Do you have a specific link to that?

Not much, but still helpful. They also have a link (at the bottom) to a PDF document that goes into greater detail.

Greetings again from across the bay in Clearwater.

Congrats on the new rower. Take the time now to learn the rowing stroke. This will pay dividends in the future and also make you less prone to injury.

There are some great technique videos online. Take the time to watch these and gradually increase your time on the rower.

Very good point. For a seemingly simple exercise it's surprisingly technical and you will leak power if you don't use good technique.

There are plenty of stories of newbies knocking off 10 or more seconds off the pace from just adjusting technique, drag, foot plates etc

This was helpful, thank you. I was (from watching C2 YouTube video) aiming for the "Double Diamond" curve thinking it was ideal. Now I know :)

Thank you everyone for all the encouragement, technique info and help. Since the title was ".. time to UPS?" I will open a new thread soon - when I have more questions around this.
