Ergfinder - find a C2 machine when travelling

Post by Recess » July 7th, 2019, 6:50 am

Hi everyone, I though I'd post a quick reminder as it's the summer holidays about my Concept 2 Finder map.

https://www.indoorrowinginfo.com/ergfinder.html

The Concept2.com website has a nice feature to find a Concept2 machine in the US. But nothing exists for the rest of the world. Which is is why I made my Google Map with locations of gyms and hotels around the world that have one.

As many of us are on our summer holidays at this time of the year, hopefully we'll stumble on the odd one (like I just did at the Best Western in St Anne's). I'd love it if you either PM'd me a message with information - or added it to the map yourself to help other's find a machine when they're travelling. (In order to edit the map and add a location, you need to have a Google Account. If you don't, just send me a message with where and how many ergs, and I'll do it for you).

A direct link to the Google Map is:

https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi ... 27703&z=12

Thanks.
John

I've added https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mi ... 44263&z=17

It's gone in as a gym with an ergo, it should be a hotel with an ergo.

They've got one model D/PM5 (with new enough firmware to run Ergdata (after I updated it) and it's reasonably clean).

Don't know how to fix it. Would it be possible to add a form for editors so that it's easier to do the additions/edits.

That makes more sense. Just a Google form with the info, which I can then update myself? Info comes in in dribs and drabs for these, so it's not like it's going to overwhelm me to do it.

Thanks for being part of this. Like all my wee ideas about indoor rowing (the indoorrowinginfo.com website and the FMMC being the biggest apart from this) it takes people to engage with what I'm trying to do. So I really appreciate it.

Here you go. A simple form for entering info if you find a C2 somewhere:
