New here

Post by ExtremistPullup » January 13th, 2018, 5:08 pm

Hi everyone new to the forum. I picked up my Model E PM5 rower a week ago used for 750 dollars. (Datecode 662015) I plan to use it for cardo along with weightlifting. Great machine I've rowed 20K meters so far working on my technique.

I'm certain Steve can pull (up) his own weight, Lindsay.

The second bay of my garage is set up as a workout area, too. But yours is awesome! And a $750 model E!! I'm having feelings of inadequacy

Welcome, have fun!

Welcome!

Nice price on the model E... and the newer version i see, like mine  Yeah, it was tough to find a used one where the seller would ship! Took me over 3 months of almost daily searching before i eventually landed a good'un shipped to me. They really are built like a tank, and the model E has enough ground clearance that you can stash weighted barbells underneath em when pressed for space :D Not that you are with that gym! Only slightly envious here

Enjoy!!!

Things I noticed
My pm5 won't always send my workout to the app. When I start it says connected. (I can use a usb to add it to my online log) still won't send it to the app. Can't delete single workout on the pm5 memory. Wish the app linked with my fitness pal. The other day I did 5k meter and ran into a error code but somehow I was able to get it to continue recording and it did t show up again.

I have it linked with MyFitnessPal through Strava.
It works pretty well, but doesn't always get the number
of calories right.

And Steven, don't forget to also use your legs - push, don't just pull...

(jk, of course, but I couldn't resist, given your upper-body strength)
