Connecting phone to PM3

so ive had a look at whats available and see that ERG Data looks to be an ok AP to use. but i need to connect it to the PM3 module on the rower at the gym which requires a couple of cables. a USB A to B and then to a OTG for connection to the phone. I think i have this right but could do with a bit of advice on this. also would this work on a PM 4 if i use a different gym rower

If you have an Android phone with a OTG dongle that should work for PM3 PM4 or PM5 with a USB-A plugged into the OTG dongle and the USB-B plugged into the PM.
