I have never paired my Polar H7 HR strap to anyone else's phone. So on the last few outings it has been very strange that my rowing partners phone has picked up my HR data via Bluetooth connection.
Looking at it further today my H7 was connected to his iPhone7, it was also connected to his own H7 (it for some reason preferred my data though as this was stored against our row on his Strava workout). When looking at connected devices there was no way to forget my H7's connection. Basically his phone had hijacked my H7's connection.
So the H7's unique ID's are quite different. So for some crazy reason it seems Apple have let the iPhone7 or iOS10 + iPhone7 let it connect to Bluetooth devices as long as its the same product from the same maker no mater what the unique ID's are.
Anyone else having this problem?
