Tips for newbie

Post by Mercador » May 16th, 2016, 10:45 am

Hi there,

I'm using a C2 since 2-3 years now at the gym and I decided to buy one for my home. After that much time, I think I will use it without worries.

That being said, I would like to know what do you suggest as for a third party app? I saw Rowpro but I know there's a lot more there. I have planned to put the rower in my office room, so I can have access to a computer. I would prefer though to put a tray with an old Android tablet on it.

Well, any suggestion is welcome!

Thanks!

RowPro is great but its only been available on the PC up until quite recently but its now out on Mac.

If you go to the Digital Rowing site you will see an Android /iOS App is only in the planning stages.

Its taken 2 or 3 years to get the Mac version, sadly too much time spent on this I think, things have moved on we now need an Android version next.

So it Will be faster for me to code my own app ;) Can't believe no companies haven't do it yet. iOS and Android are there since 7-8 years already...

Bluetooth or ANT+. A fairly inexpensive belt that broadcasts both is the Wahoo Tickr.

Yeah it works with my garmin belt, I'm happy. However, my Old Xoom tablette isnt compatible with bluetooth 4.0, oh Well :)
