My girlfriend and I became engaged to be married.

I could tell things might be getting serious when SHE asked to move my older erg over to her place.

Thanks for letting me share my news!

Daren,
I saw that you added the team (boat) point system to the CTC. Thanks for doing that BTW. Where does it show the overall standings since the CTC began?

Row hard, row well.

There are some that aren't strictly correct, since people changing teams has affected past results, but generally speaking, it's more or less right.

Thanks Daren.

Oh man, we're so close to that third spot. No chance of taking MAD out of first eh?

Hi

How is it? I've just received an email from Dwayne apologising for something I know nothing about.

Dwayne, you above all people do not need to apologise to me, considering all of the sensible, practical and constructive advice you have given out in the past.

Whatever it is you are supposed to have done - and I don't want to know what the dreadful hanging offence is - I am sure you are either completely innocent of it, or have atoned for the indiscretion in the appropriate manner.

Unless you are responsible for the holocaust, AIDs or the Nolan Sisters, I can't see that what you have done, or have been accused of doing, can be that bad!

Rest assured you would have to murder, rape or pillage in order to lose my respect and regard.

I've taken a couple of months off erging after a manic six month set of long rows and will start again in May.

I hope that this little part of some foreign land, which is forever Taffland, will be as positive, friendly, welcoming and essentially focussed on indoor rowing as it used to be.

Niall, Sorry to hear about your Mum and hope your marriage difficulties resolve themselves for the good of all concerned. At least it seems your doing yourself justice on the rower, finally.

Regards to all

Dwayne, no bother from my side......just turn up some time of your choosing and row everyone into the ground.....

Cheers

It's OK we can let Image have the Nolans.

Congrats to Adam on his forthcoming nuptials.

Not posted for a while, because I couldn't be bothered to re-register when the forum moved.

Just had 2 weeks in Disney - Orlando..had a brilliant time, but boy, does it destroy your fitness!!

Had my 2nd go at 10k tonight - 36.24. Hope to be sub 36.00 by the end of next week and hope to push 35.30 by end of the month.

Against my better judgement, I got my wife to take of piccy of me in my AIO tonight - can't help but feel a bit vain posting a picture of myself, but if everyone is doing it, what the hell..tried posing gracefully like Carla but could only manage camp, so settled for a normal pose .....enjoy
