Upgrade PM2 to PM4, advise.
I've got the chance of getting a PM4 monitor and arm, is it a straight forward upgrade from my PM2 or do I need other items to complete the upgrade. It's in a model C. Any advise would be welcome.

It's extremely straightforward. Buy the new monitor with the retro-fit kit and it's even easier.

No the arm that comes with his PM4 will fit.
You will however need to configure the PM4 for a Model C. This is done in a hidden menu and the instructions can be found on this forum if you search.
He may or may not have updated the monitor firmware over the years, pays to do this as well, info on the concept 2 website or Google it.
Don't throw out your PM2, keep it as a backup or in case you sell the Model C rower and you need the PM4 for the new rower.
The PM4 is a great monitor and you don't want to be in any rush to get a PM5 yet if you read all the problems people are having with them them on here.
