Off to see a mate in Jacksonville for a week or so. Anyone know of anywhere cool to row a few sessions?
Preferably a place showing a DVD of "Wales' greatest victories over England", any sport, doesn't really matter.
Thanks.

Williams Branch Family YMCA
10415 San Jose Blvd
Jacksonville, FL
(904) 292-1660
I-295 to Rt 13 / San Jose Blvd North
Turn right at Big Tree Lane (just past Talbots on the right) - you'll see a ~4 ft tall YMCA sign on the sidewalk on the near right side of the intersection of San Jose Blvd and Big Tree Lane. If you pass Famous Amos on the right, you've gone too far.
$25/week for temporary membership
Two model Cs in fair to good condition (the one on the right is in better condition). Chains need oil, especially the one on the left.
The rest of the Y is what I would consider a state-of-the-art health club, with many pieces of cardio equipment, Nautilus-type machines, and free weights. Clean locker rooms (at least the men's) and complimentary towels.
Typical users are largely untrained, with the damper set, on average, to 9 or 10. One guy thrashed, with the damper set at 10, for 10k at a 2:36 pace, pulling (I kid you not) 50 SPM. I think that works out to less than 4 MPS.
