Linking PM3 to VDU
Linking PM3 to VDU
I am rowing a marathon against another team for charity and wondered if it were possible to project the read out from the PM3 monitor to a VDU or TV screen so that the audience can see what is happening. I am a teghnophobe so apologies in advance if this is a dumb question. If it is possible can you let me know what connections I need. Many Thanks Sixwatt

Three options
1. RowPro for $99
2. Get a second PM3 and use venue racing for free
3. Ergdata with an iPhone/Android which supports HDMI out for lots of $$$$$
Easiest is RowPro (and for a one-off event you could use the free trial option)

Yes RowPro would be nice but still a bit of work to set-up for a one off.
Your PM3 monitor wants to be on the latest version of fimware if its an old one and you need a half decent PC with a good graphics card to run RowPro. Its also not the easiest bit of software to get going for a newbie.
You need a USB cable from the monitor to the PC.

Many thanks for your help. I will certainly check out the RowPro option.
