Is there still time for me
I go to a highschool with one of the best teams in the country. Freshman year i tried rowing and even though i did very well i didn't think the sport was for me. I had and still do swim competitively and after trying rowing freshman year i decided to focus on my swimming after that. I am now a junior and i have been contacting colleges swimming about recruiting with some success. But i suddenly feel the urge to try rowing again. A lot of my friends are on the team and i think i could be very good again. i would try to make lightweight and my 2k could possibly be in the 6:40s. But is it too late for me. If i start as soon as possible could i do well in the sport and could i even get recruited or is it too late.

Its never to late! Nearly half of the Olympic rowing team started in college. While you might find it hard to be recruited, it sounds like you are already fit, and swimming translates well to rowing. Rowing has many rewards other than recruitment, so you should really do it!
