Hi Niall, how's the training going ? Must admit to being a bit bemused by it all and haven't been keeping up with the forum much of late but am still churning out metres for TA - my goal of 10K a day average is still achievable if I don't wilt at the last hurdle (month). Pity Scott (Jumpsoda) has gone as he was really keeping me honest by steadily closing the gap on me in the team standings.niall wrote:Imagine how Martin (AussieTaff) would react on reading about the demise of TA (I know he's offline a lot due to his mum's ill health). These are just a few (I could go on!). It's the people that really make this team and I always feel such pride wearing the AIO. I'm representing the team and that means each individual that makes it up.
So lets put all this talk of leaving and disbanding behind us and get on with what we do best; supporting and motivating each other!
I'll post soon the details of my 24-hour relay and 50K relay events this weekend so stay tuned guys!
Good luck Carla and Krysta for Boston, as I found it's a unique experience doing your first race Carla so make sure you enjoy the build-up and row itself and make it memorable.
Chris and Chippy are an integral part of my enjoyment of rowing whether they are formally with TA or not, two top guys.
Cheers,
Martin
