It's the people that really make this team and I always feel such pride wearing the AIO. I'm representing the team and that means each individual that makes it up.

So lets put all this talk of leaving and disbanding behind us and get on with what we do best; supporting and motivating each other!

I'll post soon the details of my 24-hour relay and 50K relay events this weekend so stay tuned guys!
Hi Niall, how's the training going ? Must admit to being a bit bemused by it all and haven't been keeping up with the forum much of late but am still churning out metres for TA - my goal of 10K a day average is still achievable if I don't wilt at the last hurdle (month). Pity Scott (Jumpsoda) has gone as he was really keeping me honest by steadily closing the gap on me in the team standings.

Good luck Carla and Krysta for Boston, as I found it's a unique experience doing your first race Carla so make sure you enjoy the build-up and row itself and make it memorable.

Chris and Chippy are an integral part of my enjoyment of rowing whether they are formally with TA or not, two top guys.

Cheers,

Martin :)

Great post Niall. TA has some very special people in its core and that should not be lost.

I must admit I feel a lot like Brendin at the moment having joined the same day as him, but from the reaction I've seen over the last day I'm sure the Taff Attack team will come out stronger and closer.

After receiving a few Pm's asking me to handle this matter is a somewhat differant way and even being compared with JohnR :D I will back off a bit on the subject and let Mister Adams "live his lie". This doesn,t mean that I ill drop the hole matter. But this forum is meant for better things than ongoing soap.
So I will stay out off this thread.

good luck with the Taffs.

Ps if someone pm me and didn,t get an anwser, I did gave one but for some reason it doesn,t seem to work propper.

Thank you, hjs. Nuff respec'

For John Rupp and Chad, please conduct your campaign against Dwayne Adams (or Citroen in John's case) anywhere but in this Taff Attack thread. Your presence here can only be disruptive to the team as a whole.

I'm sure you don't think that the whole team are cheats. I certainly hope that's not the case. Myself, Dougie, Niall, Chris, Chippy and others have all raced at BIRC, EIRC and other events, and while none of our times are going to threaten the likes of Big G, we've all shown we can row what we say we can and we sweat blood in the name of our team.

So, throw your accusations around the forum if you must, but please don't do it in our team thread. The team thread is for support and motivation, and I ask you guys and everyone else to respect that.

Cheers.

I too will take a back seat and let things cool off. My problems are with Dwayne not with his team, I do not want to disrupt the “other” Taffs.

Good luck. I went to college in Worcester, and Ian Botham walked into me outside a video shop in St. John's.

Hal,

If you look in the dictionary you find under the title Taff:

A hot headed rower from South Wales, who can't control his emotions. Although generally considered thick, they are honourable people who can laugh at themselves..

Only Joking.
The Taff is a river in South Wales, UK. People from Wales are generally called Taffs after the famous river. Some Taffs are highly motivated individuals who row, many hang out here.

See Chris's definition of Taff...
Rugby Test - Complete hell for approx 10 to 12 minutes.
Anyone can join. There are some conditions though.
1. Welsh background (very loose on this one).
2. Love to erg/rwo.
3. Supportive of your fellow Taffs.
Row hard, row well.
