In the living room, behind a couch and right next to the windows facing the street. Passerbys get a nice view.

In my basement, right next to the stereo. It's cooler down there and I don't have to worry about taking it apart and hiding it when company comes.

In the living room, facing the window.
Neighbours already think I'm crazy, wait until I set it up on the balcony, now that nice weather is arriving!

In the living room, behind the couch. I wheel it forward to the TV to row. Basically if I'm not rowing or cooling down, I'm not watching.
I am thinking about the balcony, to try to stay cooler.

I have mine in my attic. The area is finished and is my private area, I have my computer up there as well, but it gets hot in the summer. I usually have to keep 3 fans running during the summer just to keep it livable. This year I plan to get an air conditioner.

Ours is in the garage. Unfortunately, the cars are not.

When we had our house built we made sure the erg had its own room.

Congratulations!
Mine's in the lower part of our two-level bedroom. My husband swears early morning rows don't bother him, even though I have a satisfyingly loud old Model C. Guess I don't pull hard enough to wake a sound sleeper. TV in front (though mostly I listen to the iPod), low mirrored vanity on one side, carpeted expanse for post-erg stretching on the other. It's a pretty sweet setup.

Thanks.
Now I need to find it a temporary home. I'm sure after a while it will tell me where it wants to be.

I've got ours in the bonus room over the garage. I wish I had a basement.
We have about everything crammed in there. The corner of the room has the sloped ceiling that comes down to a knee wall. I have it positioned so my head clears the ceiling by a couple of inches. I also have a TV that I can rotate toward it. I've logged a lot of meters during the NCAA torney.
I do have to turn the volume up on the TV to hear anything. Does anyone have any ideas for wireless headphones that can transmit the sound from the TV?

The balcony of my third floor apartment. The good thing about TX is that this a viable option for much of the winter. The bad thing is that it's not a good idea in the summer between 9am and 10pm.
