Gym/club with Concept 2 ergs in Madrid?

Post by efagerho » December 31st, 2013, 11:07 am

I just recently started rowing, but due to work I need to often spend 3 days/week in Madrid. I'd like to find a place where I can do one or two workouts on the erg while there. I can find some gyms on google maps that have picture galleries of their stuff, but none of them have an erg. Anyone know of either a gym or a rowing club in Madrid that has an erg? This would have to be very central, since I don't have time after a long day at work to go anywhere far and I only have access to public transportation.

Check out the crossfit gyms in Madrid. A quick google search brought up at least 2. They all have multiple concept2 ergs and most are very happy to host visiting athletes.

Yeah, maybe I should ask them. I used to do CrossFit for about 4 years back in the states, but none of the gyms I went to had "open gyms", i.e. you could only participate in their daily WOD. Had to do with insurance stuff... but maybe Europeans are more reasonable, since they don't have to be afraid that people will sue them.
