Help, Concept 2 rower model C thinks its a D/E

Hi. I recently bought a concept rower, model C. It worked fine for about a week but now keeps resetting to a model D/E every bloody time! I have to go into the hidden menu to switch it back but sometimes it wont even let me do this (its obsessed with bein a model D/E). I have done at least two complete monitor resets but this doesnt fix it
