Yes. I didn't leave because I think Dwayne's a cheat. I didn't leave because I didn't want to be associated with the Taff Attack team. I didn't leave thinking I'd be part of a wider exodus. I did have a reason, but Taff Attack means more to me than that. After other people had left, and also reading what Carla wrote, I had a re-think. And I certainly don't want to turn my back on Niall, either. He's a great ambassador for Taff Attack and the whole IR scene, in my opinion.

I've said to various people that I don't know for sure whether Dwayne's on the level or not. Naturally, I hope he is. But whether he is or not, he's been nothing but supportive in terms of Taff Attack, and just for that alone he gets the benefit of the doubt from me (the lack of actual proof that he's not on the level just backs it up). If I eventually end up looking a fool, so be it. I'm going to try and ignore "Chad" and hjs, but I'm not very good at turning a blind eye to what I see as unsubstantiated attacks.

I'd like that, too, and maybe somewhere down the line they'll feel able to come home.

Thank you :)
You could all so ask if I wouldn,t talk about the matter anymore in this tread, because the TA members deserve this. A very reasenable request.

But I understand, it is hard to think with you head deep in the sand. :D

You could put a listing of honest people on a web site, and have all the Taft Retreat members ignore them. :?

John, HJS,

Please will you stop doing this, or at least please take it away from here. Your hurting people who don't deserve it.

I'm not telling, I'm asking.

Chris

I was thinking, I could set the team up a private forum on the Taff Attack web site. This has the advantage that it would only be open to team members, and no one else would be able to trespass. The main downside, probably, is that it'll make it less likely that we'll attract "passing traffic" (i.e. new recruits), as we otherwise may do by posting here.
Daren, We can follow Sub-7's example and set-up a private TAFF diary on the UK site.

Welcome back.

I'm racing at Southampton on 1st April and Kingston Uni on 23rd April. I'll be wearing my TAFF AIO for both of those events.

I will confess that I popped in here to have a look to see why this thread was growing so fast ..... what I cant believe is the number of people who are not in the Taff team who feel they have a right to comment on the the teams internal 'goings on'. To me that is just rude.

George,

Do you feel it is rude for idiots like Citroen to troll other threads, and for Dwayne to cuss others out at will as his F*c* post is full of then come back here to some safe haven free from suspicion.

No, that would be ignorant, and I know you are not an ignorant person.

I see lots of posts on the forum about the "I'm right (even though I cheat, am a crook, don't have a clue what I'm doing etc) so let's ignore or "report" those who don't agree with us (even though they are honest, smarter, faster, more helpful than we are), and trying to shove their ignorance down everyone else's throat... instead of being ACCEPTING of others and their viewpoints.

Instead of this how about everyone taking a look at the ISSUES for a change.

Dwayne, Citroen's and other's personal attacks and trolling do nothing to resolve or help anything.

Yes I have let Citroen alone many times, who by the way has lower PERathlon scores than I do, perhaps he is jealous of me, then he comes and trolls some thread that I have posted on about rowing. You must be joking if you think I'm not going to give my VALID opinion on this one. If some of you don't appreciate valid HONEST opinions being posted here, then why don't you get on the case of those of you who troll around the forum attempting to denigrate others and put a stop to that eh?

As long as the cheats and trolls from this thread leave me alone then I have nothing to say here. That is not likely to happen, but if you want to make sure it does then consider the source.

Is it helpful or hurtful for a 10 year old to read stuff like this.

In comparison to anyone, I think my messages are quite helpful.

Not everyone agrees with me, but that is certainly fine.

:D to both of you!!!! Hats off to representing the Taffs with gusto! Glad to hear you are becoming an official Taff for the new season, Krysta. It will be cool to be at Crash B's together. If you are coming by yourself, you could stay at my house if you want (though you might want to be in the hotel with everyone else!) Right now I'm excited about going but by next February I will most likely feel very chicken. I would love to have someone there to holler at me. Also waving a two by four in a threatening manner might keep me going.

I hope Chippy & Taffy rejoin us as they just plain old are Taffs, it can't be helped. And hurrah to Daren, glad you have had second thoughts. Here's to a slew of full Taff boats for the April CTC!
