Facebook Application Not Showing New Workouts
The Facebook application doesn't seem to be showing any new workouts for me in 2010. Anyone else having the same issue?
Started with my Model D on June 11, 2007

Doesn't auto post for me either, but I don't really care as I don't really want it posting all the warmup and cooldown bits anyway. If I have a notable session, I do a manual post with some details.Citroen wrote:On my facebook it doesn't post into the news feed/live feed at all. Never has worked properly.
I suspect it's missing a call to users_hasAppPermission("publish_stream") so it's never asked for the facebook auth to publish.

In terms of posting to the news stream, you have to explicitly authorise the Application by clicking on "Publish Workouts". If you're having issues, then go to:
http://apps.facebook.com/concept-two/settings.php
If you see the "Publish Workouts" button (rather than "Stop Publishing") then clicking on that button should fix things.
I've clarified the text on here to make it more obvious what's going on.
If you've done that and workouts STILL aren't appearing, then on Facebook, click on Settings > Application Settings. then for the Concept2 Logbook Application click on "Edit settings" and then "Additional permissions". It should say:
Concept2 Logbook has permission to:
Publish to streams (with a box that should be ticked).
If this is the case and your stream is still not being posted to (while your application is), then drop me an email at davidh@concept2.com with your ranking username and your Facebook ID number and I'll poke around.

where XXXXXXXX is your Facebook ID.
