This forum's search function has gone mental

Or rather, it's just not terribly effective.

I'm trying to run a search for an acquaintance who is having a familiar "man problem" as a new rower, but can't find anything. On a lark, searching for a term like "rowing" gets about three threads as results; PM3 gets only one.

Obviously, something's gone south with how the site is indexing for searches. Using Google to search (for instance, a string like

rower site:c2forum.com

or similar) gets no results at all.

What's going on?

I see the same problem, a while back I would get many hits on common search topics....now it will return only one or two or none...
