"Carrier" rowing
Watching the 4th hour of Carrier on PBS last night and toward the end there was a brief scene of one of the sailors/pilots erging on a C2! Awesome! Not sure how many ergs the ship has, but there are a ton of treadmills.

Having erged on a carrier, I can say that the pitching and rolling of the ship makes recovery and maintaining stroke rate more difficult.TabbRows wrote:Watching the 4th hour of Carrier on PBS last night and toward the end there was a brief scene of one of the sailors/pilots erging on a C2! On the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65), there are only two Model Ds in the forward gym, and none in the other gym above the hangar bay (as of Jul 2007). Then again, both gyms were fairly crowded with equipment. The USS ENTERPRISE was commissioned 14 years before the USS NIMITZ, and may not have been laid down with as much consideration for space for cardio equipment.
